"Tesoro Selvático" is a photographic series that captures the daily life in a small community deep in the Bolivian Amazon, where Brazil nut harvesting is not just an activity but an essential part of the local culture and tradition. This region is one of the largest producers of Brazil nuts in the world, and most of the harvesting is done by a close-knit group of families who have passed down this practice through generations. Through my work, I aim to highlight the connection between the community and the forest, showcasing their deep respect for the land and the cultural significance of Brazil nut gathering. Each photograph reflects the balance between nature and tradition, capturing the strength and resilience of the people who rely on this timeless craft.
